My Ethos
Be the Difference that makes a Difference
What Makes Us Human
Ready. Set. Pivot.
It took years to reset myself from the impact of a “career-ending” fall that happened in my youth. Not only was I forced to sideline something that I loved and personified, but I was also forced to redo my future goals.
I returned as a creative problem solver. Was it easy? No. I learned too late that high school academics count a LOT more when you don’t have a core activity. I ran short of time and ended up in a void. What did I do? I pivoted.
Since then, I have focused on building a personal brand that is part “art and science”.
How? Applying past learnings born from resilience and grit.
My work today is focused on supporting healthcare organizations, where proximity matters, staying close to the people, the problems, and the realities of care delivery.
I’m drawn to leaders and teams who are driven, decisive, and believe in the power of saying “yes” then doing the work to make it real.
"Challenge yourself, your brand, your organization.
Embrace the unknown."
Blossom and Grow
How do you find opportunities that showcase your skills and interests? Become a sleuth. Not many opportunities I’ve been given were served on a silver platter. Most showed up as challenges. By asking ourselves what we do better and how we can reshape, reform, and “make it work,” we learn about ourselves and the world around us. We develop new skills and abilities that support other areas of our lives.
This process involves stages that I think of as:
Learning, Advancement, The Desert and Rebirth.
Our time and effort shape outcomes. Use “challenges” to blossom and grow.
I can’t seem to shake the pain of falling to the ground from a painful knee injury 25 years ago. Not only was I forced to sideline a profession that was all I had known, but redo the goals for my future.
I returned as a creative problem solver. Was it easy? No. I learned too late that high school academics count. I could not backfill the time that I lost chasing a dream that was clearly elusive now. What did I do? I pivoted.
Over the past 20 years, leveraging lessons from the past, I’ve developed a proven method to create outreach programs that drive long term value. I have been able to skilfully navigate brands through uncharted territory and emerge as leaders in the field for over 20 years.
This skill is born of inequity, the need to be constantly thinking of ways to improve, and the knowledge that I had the power to do it and prove to myself that the race I’m running is not finished.
Today I use the lessons of my past, born from resilience and grit, to lead simple to complicated solutions. From digital strategy experiences to business process improvement.
How do you make it? Surround yourself with people who support you, challenge you, and live in a learning culture. Lets not forget… the wheel we all are on is relentless.
- The dream of a better future is ever present.
- The need to bend time incredibly important.
- The world’s view of success seems to be ever elusive

The Importance of Empowerment
Are your teams set up to navigate change effectively?
In many organizations, it’s not a lack of effort; it’s misalignment. Communication breaks down, ownership gets blurred, and systems fall behind. Over time, that friction makes it difficult to move forward.
How do I manage change? By focusing on empowerment and breaking down challenges into bite-size pieces to rebuild around empowerment.
